Unbowed Nancy insists he is not worried about being fired yet Celtic fans show fury following loss.
The under-pressure manager declared he was not afraid of dismissal, maintaining, “The team is extremely close to changing our fortunes,” in the wake of edging perilously close to being fired with a comprehensive defeat by the Ibrox side.
Another Meltdown Leads to Old Firm Defeat

Focus on the Details
Nancy remains focused on the fact the side play well for one half at a time. In fact, were it not for missed chances they could have been greater than 1-0 up. “I saw enough except the fact that we missed a second goal,” he said. “I know that we lost, but I have also to be fair.
“The level we had at certain moments was exceptionally high. That is a fact. And I would not say that if it was untrue. That is the reason, regarding outcomes, I said this is the same story. That’s why I believe we are nearly there to things turning around. But for the moment: details, details, details.”
“I saw many, many good things that we did, like today again. But now it’s about consistency. My narrative would be different if I didn't believe it. Therefore I firmly believe we will manage to fix this.”
Röhl’s Cautious Response
Danny Röhl was cautious about a title charge despite what felt like a landmark win. “We take it game by game, and we can gradually build a challenge,” he said. “The belief in the group is immense.”
