Performer Refutes Anti-Vaccine Position Following Narrating Contentious Pandemic Film
The acclaimed actor has given his vocal talents to a feature-length documentary that casts doubt on the efficacy of immunizations and praises former cabinet secretary RFK Jr.
The Feature's Disputed Foundation
Called "Plague of Corruption," the project is inspired by a popular book written by Judy Mikovits, who rose to infamy during the global outbreak for allegations that Covid was a result of a bad strain of the seasonal immunization.
Her writing partner, Kent Heckenlively, has previously authored books with conspiracy-prone media personality the Infowars host. Heckenlively took to social media celebrating Neeson's involvement in the documentary.
A Firm Denial
A spokesperson for Neeson have provided a comment firmly refuting implications that he subscribes to anti-immunization views.
"Many understand that misconduct can exist within the medical sector, but that must not be equated to being against vaccines," the comment explains. "He never has been, and cannot be described as, anti-vaccination. His extensive work with the global charity reinforces his consistent support for public-health initiatives."
The response noted that the actor was not involved in crafting the film's narrative and that inquiries about its claims are best addressed to the creators.
Central Themes Featured in the Film
In the film, the narration read by Neeson features several strong claims:
- It claims that pro-vaccine voices have called for "blind obedience" to health authorities.
- It posits that "science has become highly politicised."
- Kennedy is shown stating, "The big problem with vaccines is that they are not safely tested."
- It further attacks Covid lockdowns, arguing they caused severe distress that resulted in thousands of lives.
- Concerning pandemic shots, it references a view that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "hazardous tests."
Historical Controversy and Ongoing Issues
The film also references a historical film about AIDS medication trials on children, which was subsequently the focus of a formal apology by the network for unbalanced reporting.
In recent weeks, the political figure directed the Centers for Disease Control to revise its long-held position that there is no causal relationship between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This assertion is echoed in the documentary, despite a fresh analysis from the World Health Organisation reiterating no connection has been found.
A Previous Position of Advocacy
Contrasting the documentary's message, Neeson has formerly expressed clear advocacy for vaccines in his position as a Unicef global ambassador.
Two years ago, he called vaccines as "an extraordinary human success story," noting that "The debate about vaccines in the past few years has forgotten how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in human history."
"Plague of Corruption" finishes with Neeson's voice stating, "This marks not the conclusion of our story. It is the beginning of a different phase."
