Manchester United against Brighton & Hove Albion – Premier League Match Report
Preamble
The Red Devils, having just beaten Liverpool and Sunderland, are targeting three Premier League wins on the bounce this evening. The wind’s behind them under Ruben Amorim for the very first time!
Only problem is, Brighton are Brighton & Hove Albion, having triumphed in their previous three visits at Manchester United’s home, plus six out of seven League meetings head-to-head.
Never mind the wind behind; Brighton have found very comfortable. That said, Brighton are otherwise consistently inconsistent as their hosts, therefore the fixture appears intriguing and possibly rollickingly good entertainment.
Start time is 17:30 BST and we say this for the last time in a while with daylight saving ending, folks. Game on!

Selection Changes
Man Utd have made two changes in the wake of their 2-1 win against Liverpool. Šeško is selected instead of Mount, who drops to the bench, plus the decisive scorer Maguire misses out entirely, Leny Yoro taking his place at the back.
Maguire picked up an injury in midweek sessions. Tyrell Malacia is named in a Premier League squad in 2025-26.
Brighton have made a single switch following victory at home versus Newcastle. It’s ostensibly a defensive one, including De Cuyper for Diego Gómez, who drops to the bench.
The striker, a member of the last Manchester United squad champions in in 2012-13, returns to Old Trafford in fine form scoring four in three, an improvement on from 15 prior games.
Leading Stories
Ruben Amorim doesn’t much care for the opinions of the Reds’ manager … yet Welbeck is mindful about the considerations from the German coach.
Various reports suggest the fixture could have implications their campaigns during the league campaign progresses.
Ones to watch include the captain for United and the Brighton forward for the visitors, both on song lately.
